Welcome to Lake Kabin!

Hi! We’re Alex and Violetta, the husband-and-wife team behind Lake Kabin. We’re a family-run business based in Haliburton, Ontario, and we love creating cozy cabin getaways for our guests.

Our journey started in 2022, when we decided to take a big risk while expecting our second child—we bought our first cottage, Koshlong Cabin, and worked hard to renovate it. It was a lot of work, but we loved the process and quickly realized that hosting was something we were truly passionate about. In 2024, we expanded with our second property, Peekaboo Cabin.

Alex is a software engineer by day and a handyman by night, always looking for his next project. Violetta, who used to work in the film industry, now focuses full-time on running Lake Kabin and making sure every guest has a great stay.

For us, hosting is more than just renting out cabins—it’s something we genuinely love. We enjoy creating comfortable spaces where people can relax, connect, and make memories. Whether you’re here for a quiet escape or an adventure, we hope you feel right at home.
